NABREC has been established for the purpose of allowing former staff of the National Australia Bank to maintain relationships that have been built over many years during their working careers. The first meeting was held on 7th July, 1931.

Membership is open to all former NAB employees who served with the Bank for at least 15 years or with the founding banks, the National Bank of Australasia Limited (NBA) and The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Limited (CBC Bank). Partners of former staff too, are most welcome to join.

Mostly we meet on the second Tuesday of each month (except January and July) at 11.15am at "The Arena", Ground floor, 700 Bourke Street, Docklands (Adjacent to Marvel Stadium) for our meeting and guest speaker.  Easy access by public transport directly opposite Southern Cross railway station. Guest speakers usually accompany the meeting for short interesting presentations.  Lucky door prizes.  Drinks with nibbles are served after the meeting (subject to any covid rules in place at the time).  Please check Breaking News and our Events page for the latest information about meetings.
